Magic City Happenings- July 18th

Sorry for not posting the past two weeks, things have been SUPER crazy for the both of us. We’ve dealt with all things from traveling, to vacations, to family/friends deaths.

But alas, we are back and are happy that you all stuck by us even when things were slow. Your the best!!!

Here are this week’s upcoming events-

Monday:

Monday Movie Matinee at North Shelby Library- “Up”- All Ages Welcome. No Registration Required. Snacks served. 2pm.

Movie Monday at Pelham Public Library- 2pm. “Alvin and the Chipmunks – The Squeakquel!”  Rated PG

Teen Movie Night at Pelham Public Library- Call 620-6418 for details. 5:30-7:30pm

Toddler Tales at North Shelby Library- Story time for ages 19 – 36 mths.  Registration required! 9:30am, 10:30am, 11:30am.

Tuesday:

Tweens & Teens Tuesday @ Veterans Park in Alabaster. 6-8PM

Calera Farmer’s Market- 3:00pm til 7:00pm at Oliver Park.

Story Time “Good Old Summertime” at Helena Library- 11am.

Starshine Faces at North Shelby Library- Watch as your favorite stories come to life through face painting. Some kids faces will be painted during the show, then face painters will be available to paint faces for 1 hour after the show. All Ages Welcome. No Registration Required. 10:30am.

Pirate Booty Bingo at Pelham Public Library- 10:30am- Join us for a fun round of Pirate bingo.

Wednesday:

Tot Spot at Chelsea Library-10:30.  Reading program for 2′s, 3′s and 4′sWednesday:

Close-Out Party at Helena Library- Snacks, Prizes, and a Fun-filled atmosphere! 1:00 PM in the meeting room.

Together Time at Pelham Public Library- 9:15 and 10:30- All Ages-A storytime designed especially for growing minds. Stories, songs and crafts make up a lively 45 minute program. A snack is served.

Mr. Mac (Storyteller Extraordinaire!) at North Shelby Library- 10:45am- Stories and music for all ages!

KIDS KRUSADE – Overton Church – 7pm. Music, games, stories, door prizes, puppets, and lots of fun!! Snow cones and cotton candy!!

Thursday:

Story Time at Calera Public Library. Ages 3 and up @ 10am.

Story Time “Good Old Summertime” at Helena Library- 11am.

Craft Time at North Shelby Library- “Fish Wall Hanging” -Drop in anytime between 2:00 – 3:30 p.m. All Ages Welcome. Registration Required. Registration begins 2 weeks prior to craft date. Call or visit the Children’s Department at 439-5504 to sign-up.

Make A Splash Carnival at Pelham Public Library- 1:00-2:30pm- All Ages

KIDS KRUSADE – Overton Church – 7pm- Music, games, stories, door prizes, puppets, and lots of fun!! Snow cones and cotton candy!!

Friday:

• Movies in the Park @ Veterans Park in Alabaster – 8PM – “Planet 51″
• KIDS KRUSADE – Overton Church – 7pm- Music, games, stories, door prizes, puppets, and lots of fun!! Snow cones and cotton candy!! BIG CARNIVAL FRIDAY NIGHT with inflatable water slides!! Each child and teen will be given a packet of school supplies on Friday night! It is going to be a blast! Come join us!

Saturday:

Movies in the Park at Homewood Park. “Monsters vs Aliens”. Movie starts at dusk or shortly after.

Lowes Build and Grow Clinic – UFO – 10:00 AM
