End of Year HOMESCHOOL PARTY!!

 Birmingham Area Homeschoolers are celebrating SUMMER!!!

End of the Year Party

Oak Mountain State Park

(beach area)

11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

We usually have a HUGE turn out at this party, so come prepared to meet a lot of new friends.

Please bring a dish and a drink to share.  I will need a couple of families
to bring coolers of ice.  Please contact me if you can do that.  Everest
will provide all of the papergoods and cutlery.  I always get questions on
what to bring food wise…anything you would like.  Remember there is
swimming involved, so there are lots of HUNGRY kids around.  For most,this
will be lunch for the day, so while snacky things are good, so is “good
food”.  If you can bring a folding table, that would be much appreciated.

FOR SALE and FREECYCLE:

Please bring any items that you would like to sale or give away.  These
items can include (but not limited to) anything that you think would benefit
another family including books, curriculum, movies, games, toys, clothing,
food, craft items, etc…  If your items are for sale, please be certain to
stay with your items and mark them CLEARLY.  If your items are Freecycle,
please be sure to take whatever is left over home with you.  Don’t leave the
items for someone else to have to deal with.  All sales and exchanges are
YOUR responsibility.  Please handle any disputes privately.

WHAT TO BRING:

Potluck dish and drink to share

For Sale  Freecycle items

Sunscreen

Chairs and/or blankets

Bathing suit and sand toys

Hiking shoes if going hiking

Animal feed if visiting the petting zoo (highly recommended)

Outdoor toys such as a football or Frisbee

Great attitude and readiness to meet new friends!!!

The party is FREE; however, there is a small entrance fee to get in the
park.  I believe it is $2 for adults and $1 per child.  No RSVP needed!
Party is open to all homeschoolers!!!
