Photo Candy News and Specials!

About two months ago I quit my “real” job. I always giggle to myself when I say that. I have never worked harder in my life and believe me it has been
VERY real! I have had days where I am very happy and days well let’s just say they are more of a challenge. But at the end of the day I am doing
something I love and I am proud of. And I am getting to do it right up under my own roof and at times in my pj’s. I wasn’t supposed to tell that was I??

_I wanted to share a couple of canvas designs I have done lately that I
really love. Of course I love them all! :-) _

This is a collage I did for Layla Grace Marsh she passed away recently from Neuroblastoma a rare cancer of the nerve tissue. This was so incredibly sad!   I was happy to put a smile on her Mom’s face.

New Products!!
One of the things I have started doing lately is 8 x 10 portraits on glossy  photo paper. There are 11 people designs and 7 pet designs available and they are $35 each. I wanted to have a product that anyone could afford especially at a time when people aren’t spending money unnecessarily. I was
concerned at first that they wouldn’t have much of an impact because they
were small but I played around with them by putting them in frames and such and they have a really big impact because they are so colorful. It’s also a great way to be able to afford to do multiple subjects for a wall collage.

They look gorgeous in desk frames or in larger frames with a trim inset. I had a little resistance at first – but this month people are buying them and
they are turning into a top seller.

Here you can see some examples. And the photo unfortunately does not do justice they have a large impact and look gorgeous. Also these frames came
from Hobby Lobby and they have a wonderful selection of gorgeous frames at avery reasonable price.

   _Sports Pop Art_

I don’t know about you but after 3 kids in sports for the last several years
I literally have plastic bins FULL of pictures – yes they are necessary but
in the same dull and boring poses etc. How about a new and exciting twist to remembering that season?

Check out PhotoCandy Sports Pop Art Portraits:

You can choose your own background color and add your child’s name and number for a more personalized effect. They are super cute and a wonderful alternative to the same old portraits.

_PhotoCandy Promotional Products!_

We are in the process of adding a line of promotional products that will be
sold as add-ons. There are several things in the works such as a line of
trendy and cute tee’s, mouse pads, and have already started offering canvas
bag totes. If you have had a canvas done or any other print you can add on another product with that same design on it for an additional cost. I am so EXCITED about this and know they will be a wonderful addition to the fun
PhotoCandy products!

   _Our April Promotion

An order of $70 or more and you will receive a free canvas tote, they are SUPER cute and so unique. I love carrying mine around because they are huge attention getters. I LOVE getting asked where did I get it and questions about the design that is on it. So if you were to get a canvas design for example, that same design would go onto the bag. If you were to purchase a
couple of 8×10 print portraits you would just need to tell us which design you wanted to go onto the bag.

One canvas tote per customer.

See them pictured here with matching portraits. These are PERFECT for a
truly unique Mother’s Day gift!

I am so thankful of the opportunity to offer PhotoCandy products around the
globe by having an Internet store and an international presence. But at the
same time the largest thing that led me to create this business was the
overwhelming feeling of joy and satisfaction I get from seeing the reaction
of my customer when I deliver their PhotoCandy canvas design. Even though again I am thankful for the business, a little part of me is sad as I am
packing them in a box and sending them without me to see the look on the
receivers face. However, sometimes they send me pictures and I get the
biggest kick out of it so please keep sending them!!

   _Exhibits etc_

PhotoCandy is currently working on getting geared up to go out into the
community and exhibit our products. It gives us a wonderful opportunity to
showcase our products and people seeing them in person to fully appreciate
them.

Here is a list of scheduled exhibits so far and we will add to this list as
opportunities arise:

   _Other News_

On a different note, recently I received an amazing article write up and I want to share it with anyone that did not see it. (Okay I want to brag about it). I love to read business blogs and one of my favorites is written by
Natalie MacNeil her blog is called She Takes on the World and she does a
feature called In Her Heels. The feature is about women who have taken on
the world and are living their dreams. Her blog is rated as one of the top
in the country in her niche, has global readership, and has received
numerous rewards from Forbes and other large blogger organizations.  She
recently chose ME to be her feature and I cannot tell you how thrilled I am
as it is such an amazing honor. Please check it out if you haven’t already
www.shetakesontheworld.com. If you own a business I encourage you to follow  this blog as it is filled with valuable information that is relevant and
timely.

Thank you so much for reading this newsletter. I would be so appreciative
if you would share it with your friends. Customer and fan referrals has
played a major role in our success to this point. As a small business we are
unable to take out big advertisements just yet so we are so thankful for
people like you that help us in getting the word out.

Take chances, you only have this one shot and it is NOT a dress rehearsal!!!
Also, remember, take lots of pictures!! You are your family’s historian.

Much Love,
Tammy
