COST: Earth Day Celebration is FREE (after cost of park admission)
There are A LOT of really cool activities in the works. You don’t want to
miss this!!! More details to be announced!
Note to parents: If you have an activity, game, craft, book reading,
performance, or anything else you would like contribute, please let us
know!!!!

Everest Academy is having an “Earth Day Celebration” which will include
guided hikes, games and activities, prizes, trash wall, Alabama Wildlife
Center presentation (something mentioned about live animals), free “Green”
give aways, Alabama Power educational trunks, coupons, Legacy calendar
contest, and much more!!!!
We will also have children drawing entries for and conducting the 2011
Environmental Calendar Contest for Legacy for grades K-6. More information

Weather permitting, be sure to bring sunscreen, bathing suits, and towels so
that the kids can swim.
Make sure to bring your FREECYCLE items!!!! Bring any of your gently used
items, including books, curriculum, clothes, toys, etc, that would benefit
another family!
