Many of you know about the Easter Seals. Easter Seals provides exceptional services, education, outreach, and advocacy so that people living with autism and other disabilities can live, learn, work and play in our communities. The pediatric clinic in Shelby County provides therapeutic services to children with disabilities from several surrounding counties. It is truly an asset to all families.
This weekend is the annual Walk with Me Easter Seals Fundraiser. This year, the focus is to boost volunteer participation, especially through teams. Participants a walk 1.9 mile track. It is a friendly track, surrounded by fields of play and trees filled with birds! It is one of my favorite places to stroll.
After the walk, participants can enjoy fun activities including inflatables, food vendors, face painting, and live music by ”Groove Daddy”. Join Jason Simpson from Alabama’s 33/40 and Dollar Bill from 102.5 “The Bull” as well.
If you currently have a team and want more members, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO MAKE A COMMENT BELOW WITH YOUR TEAMS INFORMATION.
