Whether it’s music, dance, sleep-away, art, cheerleading, or sports camp, most parents are looking for somewhere to send their kids this summer.
So, to help make your job a little easier, we’ve decided to list some of the greats.
- Is your child(ren) into Nature and getting out and getting dirty? If so, check out Ruffner Mountain Summer Camp , Aldridge Gardens, Birmingham Zoo, or Old Baker Farm.
- Got a girly-girl (like my daughter) who wants to dance her summer away? Try Birmingham Ballet’s Summer Program, the Children’s Dance Foundation, or the Alabama Ballet and Center for Dance.
- If you have a child into sports, check out your local YMCA Chapter , Sports Blast
- Got a child who’s into art? Try Abrakadoodle or Young Rembrandts.
- None of those what you are looking for? How about The McWane Center, Pump It Up, Mountain Brook Gymnastics, or Kid’s Gym.
Whatever it is your kids are into, chances are there is a camp available in the Birmingham area.
Did we forget one? Add it to the comments, we’d love to learn about new camps in the area.
