We are huge fans of American Girl. We attend the monthly American Girl meeting at our local library, read the American Girl book of the month, and of course, celebrate our annual American Girl Store pilgrammage in Atlanta, where we dine, shop, and get new ‘dos for our dolls. It is a special bond my mom shares with my girls.
This month, there will be a special Fashion Show hosted by the Junior League of Morgan County. All proceeds will benefit The Carnegie Visual Arts Center’s Hand on Children’s Museum. It is a fun filled event that features fashions from yesterday’s American Girl dolls to today’s latest fashion American Girl trends. Door prizes and refreshments will also be featured.

Thanks for sharing this great info! BTW, what library is it that has monthly AG meetings???
Gwen
Hi Gwen! Alabaster, Trussville, and Hoover, I know have meetings. Contact your local library, and if they do not have one, let me know and I can find you the nearest one. Also, Everest Academy has one for homeschoolers so if you homeschool, check them out at http://www.homeschoolingalabama.com/. You can also start one. I have all the materials if you are interested. Some months are book discussions while other months, the girls do crafts. Thanks for commenting, Nanci
