Feb. 6th-12th Storytime Calendar

Reading to your children is one of the most important things you can do with your child.

Not only does it guarantee quality time between you and your kids, it helps their minds learn and grow more quickly.

Many local libraries in the Birmingham Area host FREE readings each week, here’s the rundown!

Monday:

• Alabaster- Great Stories Club at Kid’s First Awareness of Alabaster,  4:00 PM.
• North Shelby Library- Toddler Tales, 10:30 & 11:30 am. Ages 19-36 months. Registration Required.
• Hoover-Spanish Storytime @ 6:30pm

Tuesday:

• Alabaster-THE BIG READ KICKOFF! ALABAMA READS: TOM SAWYER!
• North Shelby Library- Baby Tales,  10:30 and 11am, Birth to 18 months
• Columbiana-Pre-school Storytime with Ms. Jane @ 9:30 am
• Helena-Storytime @ 11am.
• Montevallo-Valentine’s Craft @ 3:30pm
• Homewood-Storytime @ 10:30am-all ages

Wednesday:

• Alabaster-Tunes & Tales w/ Mr. Mac, all ages. 3:30pm.
• North Shelby Library- Family Storytime w/ Mr. Mac @ 10:45am.
• Pelham- Together Time, 9:15 and 10:30am. All Ages.
• Chelsea- Tot Spot Reading, ages 2-4.
• Montevallo- Storytime with Mr. Mac @ 9:15am.
• Homewood-Storytime @ 10:30am-all ages

Thursday:

• Alabaster-Big Read Crafty Kids Club: Tom Sawyer & Becky Thatcher’s Old Fashioned Valentines,4:30 PM.
• North Shelby Library- Fancy Nancy Valentine’s Day Party, 4pm
• Pelham- PJ Storytime, all ages. 6:30pm.
• Calera-Activity Time, 16 mo. to 2 yrs. 9am.
• Calera-Story Time, all ages, 10am.
• Helena-Storytime @ 11am. “Let’s Celebrate Valentine’s Day”
• Montevallo-Big Read Kickoff at 3:30pm
• Homewood- Rhythm and Rhyme Storytime @10:30am-all ages
• Hoover-American Girl Ice Cream Social, 4pm and 6:30pm

Friday:

• Alabaster- Toddler Tales with Miss Jane 10:30 a.m.
• Homewood-Leaps and Bounds @ 10:30am, all ages

Saturday:

• Pelham- Saturday Morning Stories. 10:30, All Ages.
• Pelham-Jumping Frog Contest at 2pm
