Feb. 1st – 6th Storytime Calendar

Reading to your children is one of the most important things you can do with your child.

Not only does it guarantee quality time between you and your kids, it helps their minds learn and grow more quickly.

Many local libraries in the Birmingham Area host FREE readings each week, and each Sunday, we will bring you the rundown.

Monday:

• Alabaster- Great Stories Club at Kid’s First Awareness of Alabaster,  4:00 PM.
• North Shelby Library- Toddler Tales, 10:30 & 11:30 am. Ages 19-36 months. Registration Required.
• Hoover- Together w/ Twos with Mr. Justin, 2yo’s. 9:30 & 10:30 am.

Tuesday:

• Alabaster-Lego League 4:00 PM- 4:45 PM 10 and under!
• C0lumbiana-Pre-school Storytime with Ms. Jane @ 9:30 am, “Winter is Here”
• Helena-Storytime @ 11am.
• Pelham- Fun Club Craft ages 12 and under. 3:30pm.
• Homewood-Storytime, all ages. 10:30am.
• Hoover- Mother Goose with Miss Shawna. 1 year olds. 9:30 & 10:30 am.

Wednesday:

• Alabaster-Tunes & Tales w/ Mr. Mac, all ages. 3:30pm.
• Chelsea- Tot Spot Reading, ages 2-4.
• Montevallo- Storytime with Mr. Mac @ 9:15am.
• North Shelby Library- Mr. Mac @ 10:45am.
• Pelham- Together Time, 9:15 and 10:30am. All Ages.
• Homewood-Storytime, all ages. 10:30am.
• Hoover- Tiny Tots with Miss Laura. Kids under 4. 9:30 & 10:30 am.
• Hoover- After Lunch Bunch with Miss Katie Jane 3 and up. 1:30pm.

Thursday:

• Alabaster-The Science Squad with the McWayne Science Center 4:00 PM.
• Calera-Activity Time, 16 mo. to 2 yrs. 9am.
• Calera-Story Time, all ages, 10am.
• Helena- Storytime @ 11am.
• North Shelby Library- PJ Storytime @ 7pm. All Ages.
• Pelham- PJ Storytime, all ages. 6:30pm.
• Homewood-Baby and Me. Ages Birth-12 mo. 10:30am.
• Hoover- Storytime with Miss Traci. 3 and up. 10:30 am.
• Hoover- PJ Storytime with Miss Mollie. All ages. 6:30pm.

Friday:

• Alabaster- Toddler Tales with Miss Jane 10:30 a.m.
• Homewood- Leaps and Bounds, ages 2 1/2 to 4 yrs. 10:30 am.

Saturday:

• Pelham- Saturday Morning Stories. 10:30, All Ages.
• Hoover- Show your love by creative valentines for friends, family and Children’s Hospital. 10:30am.
