Where Angels Play…

A typical day in my life filled with errands goes like this: “Mommy, do I hafta go with you?”, “Mommy, she is staring at me, again!”, “Mommy, I wanna play?” and “Mom, I am BORED!!!” Yea, yea, I know, when I decided to homeschool I knew I was asking for it. And even if I decided to not homeschool, the mere presence of children will bring about a much needed mommy break. Since my little angels probably need a break from me too, imagine my surprise when I found the perfect place:
Located at 3548 Pelham Parkway, Cherubs Club House is like a heavenly kids dream filled with indoor equipment to play with, play on, play around, dive in, jump on, jump off, run around, swing from, hide in, and everything else you could imagine a kid would want to do. Heck, I almost wanted to dive into that ball pit and slide down that slide. But Cherubs Club House is much more than an indoor playhouse, it is a service. A much needed service to a community of busy moms who just need a break.
Besides the membership which includes 12 club plays, free special events, 10% parties, and 1 free pass for a friend, Cherubs Club House offers what I want SITTING SERVICES and PARENTS NIGHT OUT.
Not to mention, Kindermusik, Dance and Movement, Art, Birthday Parties, and fun baby and toddler classes.
And I have to say, meeting Kathy was wonderful! She is the owner and official fun coordinator of Cherubs Club House. One thing I have to say about Cherubs Club House, besides the fact I had to BEG and PLEAD my children to leave, was that safety is definately taken seriously at Cherubs Club House. No angels can escape without being buzzed in and out without a parent or guardian. They have taken safety to the highest level by placing angelic no-nos up high (thermostat) and they are safety equipped and CPR certified. And if idle hands are the devil’s workshop, no need to worry about that here. There was so much to do that the words, “Mom, I’m bored” were zapped from my 8 year olds mouth.
I LOVE Cherubs Club House and look forward to many, many, many hours there with my kids, and many hours away from my kids, knowing they are in good hands.
