Quick and Simple Cookie Fun

Help! I have four precious little hands that want to help me in the kitchen.  I don’t have the time to go buy the ingredients for cookies so I compromised and this is what I did.

1 Stick of Butter
1/2 cup of sugar
2 cups of Flour.

Blend soft butter and sugar together into cream. Slowly add flour until doughy thickness. Preheat oven to 350degrees. In the meanwhile, grab cookie cutters, etc. Lay down wax paper or cookie trays. Let kids play, designing cookies, etc. Bake until golden brown.
And guess what? They were good!
But wait, there’s more!  After we got “cookied” out, we took the rest of the batter, blended in a handful of cheese and some soft sausage links and
Presto!
Sausage balls with a sweet, savory taste.  Perfect for little hands that need to stay busy and perfect for little mouths who want a fun snack!
